Irish directors REX INGRAM (‘Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse’), HERBERT BRENON (‘The Great Gatsby’) and WILLIAM DESMOND TAYLOR (‘Huckleberry Finn’) were giants of Silent Era Hollywood, our campaign, launched Heritage Week 2013, is to put these pioneers of modern cinema on stamps of both the country of their birth, Ireland, and of the country where their work flourished, USA.
